Ways College Students can stay active!

College Students that stay physically active and follow healthy eating habits have better quality sleep and develop fewer mental health diseases. This can help improve the quality of life for a college student which in turn can lead to higher grades for students. Most of the time, students feel like they don't have enough time to go to the gym or stay physically active for that matter. This page will help you find ways to stay physically active.

Running

Running is one of the easiest and most efficient ways to stay physically active, and the quickest workout you could do. 1 mile of running can burn anywhere between 80-120 calories. A quick 15-20 minute run can keep you refreshed throughout the day.

Weight Training

Lifting weights is another beneficial way students can stay physically active while they are enrolled in college. Public Universities have gyms that are available for students to go work out and lift. Some exercises you can do at the gym would be bench pressing, squatting, and deadlifts.

Calisthenics

Calisthenics are the best way a student can stay physically active without leaving their apartment or dorm. Some examples that we see with calisthenics can be push-ups, sit-ups, and jumping Jacks. If you can do 100 push-ups and 100 sit-ups then you can put together a solid workout.
